Have your pre teen join the club sprout book club this fall. The goal is to have your pre teen engaged and interested in discussion and hanging out with their peers during class. I'd like to bring a snack each week to share and have a low pressure fun atmosphere. A book selection will be coming soon. At the end of each book, there will be an activity and discussion.

This course will help students build confidence and develop lifelong communication skills through engaging, hands-on speaking experiences. Students will learn how to organize and deliver compelling speeches, tell meaningful stories, think on their feet, communicate on stage and on camera, and give constructive feedback in a fun, encouraging environment. At the end of our class students will have an opportunity to compete for an oportunity to speak on stage at our assembly.

Students need to be able to read and write and have access to a word processing application, like word, pages or Google Docs. If possible, if they have access to record and rewatch their speeches, that will help to accelerate growth.
