In this class we will learn about the human body from a Biblical perspective. Each week we will study a different part of the human body, and we’ll learn how each part God designed plays an important part in how we function. We will learn about the skeletal system, muscular system, heart and circulatory system, respiratory system, the brain and nervous system, digestive system, the senses, as well as nutrition and exercise. For the last week we will learn some basic first aid and how to call 911, going over basic questions the dispatcher would ask in an emergency. We will also work on memorizing Psalm 139:13-14. As a registered nurse with a background in emergency nursing and a homeschool mom who loves the Lord, I am so excited to teach this class!

Each week, we will add more details to a small passport book that each kid will take home at end of term. Most importantly, your kid will learn how the Bible is the best road map for daily life (Psalm 25:4-5) as we learn together to follow God’s path above our own plans. Geography, map skills, compass use, and lots of fun will all be included!
In this class the students will learn tumbling and gymnastics skills by practicing each week and doing different drills with our mats! We will begin with a fun warm up and end with a game! This class is always a blast and I love watching their progress!
